Everything in this film moves except the stone. A metro pulls into Kongens Nytorv, an architect runs a hand down the Van Abbe facade, a family sits down to dinner. Underneath all of it: slate that was seabed hundreds of millions of years ago, split by hand the same way it has been for hundreds of years. No robot has managed it. The world moves. It wears well.
