Miracle-Gro
Gardening is one of the last things left that can't be hurried. A seed takes what it takes. So the film takes it too: shot close enough to feel the weight of a handful of earth, no faces, just the person you sense without seeing. A knee in soil. A root through the dark. The bag tears, and something wakes up.

Behind the scenes
We scouted an unreasonable number of gardens in Dallas before finding one that was already beautiful enough to leave alone. The whole film was shot there. Kowa spherical vintage glass, an Infinity probe for the close work, a Fisher dolly. Concept to production took just under three weeks, which is not how gardening works, but it is how advertising works.
